'The sky is a book that've written all things that happen since the creation day', a wise old man once told me.
"Edenor, The Third of Laskar Pelangi Tetralogy"
Since I never write for a blog,(well, I never write anything, actually! ^^) so I will only make a brief introduction. My blogsopt will talk mostly about the combination of Art, Culture, Science, Religion, Astrology, Myth, and Legend.(Can you imagine what it'll become?!) I mostly inspirated by the work of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, William Shakespear, Albert Enstien, C. Moody, Catherine Koolmen, and most of the Historical Note that've been made.
I always agree with Lewis, that all of the religion, even christian and moeslem, are rooted to the animist and any other old believes. 'From Mr. Tumnus to Aslan, from satyr to Jesus Christ' as Lewis would've said.
I also agree with Tolkien, that religion means what we do, and not only what we believe.Without doing, we can't show what we believe. Just like Frodo who show mercy to Gollum, even if he know that Gollum have no more power over The One Ring. He can only show greed, angriness, and pure madness. He (Frodo) doesn't even know Iluvatar, the god in Middle-Earth. But he can show the hardest and - I think - the rarest part of Iluvatar, mercy and love. Even Aragorn, one of the strongest hero in the story, probably can't choose that kind of behaviour over his enemy.
Even now, there is still some believes that we only need to believe in one god, and we will go to heaven without doing anything. Doing bad things like killing people, free sex, using drugs, will affect nothing accroding to their believe. Well I say it's wrong! God want nothing more from us than become His Peacebringer! How can you become a Peacebringer if you are doing things that He forbid?
Even science, legend, myth, astrology, art, culture, religion, or everything will render to the right thing to do!!!!!
Well thats what though. fell free to join in more of my topics later, and send me some massege if I'm saying something that you think wrong. See you next time.
